Biking And Kayaking Combo Tour In Luang Prabang - Private Tour

What To Expect

This tour includes two main activities: mountain biking and kayaking on Nam Khan River. We will ride to visit some of the best sides of around Luang Prabang, including golden temples and Henri Mouhot’s grave. After a picnic lunch, you will join in kayaking activity on Nam Khan River before return to Luang Prabang. They’ll be your amazing experiences in Luang Prabang surely.




Description

In the morning, we meet you at your hotel. After getting your bike, we lead you along backroads to see Wat Pa Phon Phao – a golden temple with a great view of Luang Prabang. Continue riding along the bank of Nam Khan River, we go to visit the grave of Henri Mouhot – the French explorer who popularized the Angkor Complex in Cambodia.
Finishing the 15km ride, we stop to have a picnic lunch and relax. After that, a short boat ride will bring us to Tad Sae Waterfall for a refreshing swim under jungle canopy. We then move to kayaking center. Here you will be provided a brief kayaking instruction and safety review and start kayaking downward Nam Khan River. During the rainy season, the water level is high and moves at a nice pace through lush jungle countryside. After kayaking of 20km, we will wrap up just under the Luang Prabang city bridge. From here you take our truck returning to your hotel in Luang Prabang.

 In the low water season, the itinerary is the same with the following exceptions to give you the best experience possible.
We’ll take a slightly different bike route that includes Wat Pa Phon Phao, some unpaved riding with some fun hills, and a river crossing by boat with the bikes.
